Welcome to Kathmandu Cooking Academy! By enrolling in our cooking classes, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline your rights and obligations, and provide important information about your classes.
1. Enrollment and Payment
1.1. Registration: Participants must register in advance for classes. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.2. Payment: Full payment is required at the time of registration. This can be made online through our website or in person at our academy.
1.3. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
2. Class Conduct
2.1. Timeliness: Participants are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may join the class in progress but will not be given extra time.
2.2. Dress Code: For safety, participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
2.3. Behavior: Respectful behavior is expected at all times. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the class without a refund.
3. Health and Safety
3.1. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: Participants must inform the academy of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of registration.
3.2. Safety Instructions: Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the chefs and staff. The academy is not liable for injuries resulting from participant negligence.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1. Recipes and Materials: All recipes and materials provided during the class are the intellectual property of Kathmandu Cooking Academy and are intended for personal use only.
5. Privacy Policy
5.1. Personal Information: Any personal information provided will be used solely for class registration and communication.
5.2. Photography: Photographs taken during the class may be used for promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to be photographed should inform the academy in advance.
6. Modifications to Classes
6.1. Changes to Schedules or Menus: The academy reserves the right to alter class schedules or menus as necessary. Participants will be notified of any changes in advance.
7. Liability
7.1. Waiver of Liability: Participants are required to sign a waiver of liability before the commencement of the class, acknowledging the risks involved in cooking activities.
8. Complaints and Feedback
8.1. Feedback: We welcome feedback and will strive to address any concerns promptly.
8.2. Complaints: Any complaints should be made in writing and will be responded to within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Governing Law
9.1. Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
